Mechatronics Exploratory Workshops Scheduled

July 17, 2012

Blue Ridge Community College will begin offering courses in Mechatronics starting this fall.  The program will advance efforts to open career opportunities for students while connecting skilled graduates with local advanced manufacturing employers.

Mechatronics is a dynamic field that changes daily with rapid improvements in technology and computer systems.  The program will involve working with highly automated equipment, computer interfacing and simulation software.  If you like to see what things are made of and how they work using both your mind and hands, you will enjoy this program.

On July 23- 26, Blue Ridge Community College will be offering exploratory workshops to those interested in exploring a career in Mechatronics.  The sessions will be held from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm in the Continuing Education Building, Room 122.  For more information contact Blue Ridge Community College at 828-694-1788.
