The Country Malt Group announced today that it will be moving its Southeastern US base of operations from Hickory, North Carolina to Fletcher, North Carolina, just outside of Asheville.

“Our brewery customers in North Carolina and the surrounding states have experienced tremendous growth over the last three years since we set up our Hickory distribution warehouse” stated Patrick La Zelle, Country Malt Group Eastern Territory Manager “and we are pleased to be able to grow with them.”

“We are very appreciative of the high level of service and commitment that our distribution partner Consolidation Services has provided us in Hickory” La Zelle stated. “Our decision to move to Fletcher was solely based on our desire to manage our own warehouse and to add milling capabilities for our customers that don’t have the means to mill their own malt.”

The Country Malt Group’s Steve Magee will be relocating along with his family in the coming weeks in preparation for the warehouse move to Fletcher. Steve is currently based out of our Champlain, New York warehouse where he has served as the on-site warehouse lead for the last two years.
