CANE CREEK CYCLING COMPONENTS CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF INNOVATION

June 24, 2025

Henderson County, NC – This year, Cane Creek turns 30 and to celebrate, they hosted a ribbon cutting and event at their new Experience Center on Saturday, June 14. The event featured their new limited collection of components in the brand’s signature color, Cane Creek Blue available for purchase in the Experience Center, a bounce house, cookout, and ribbon cutting with Cane Creek employees and board members.

Cane Creek President Brent Graves honored long-time employee Dianne Waters before cutting the ribbon, noting that she has been with the company for over 45 years and seen it grow to the internationally recognized name it is today. Dianne was with the company when it was Diacompe, having been with them longer than the thirty years celebrated today. Graves also honored and celebrated the retirement of Cane Creek employee, Peter Gilbert. Employees and customers enjoyed the beautiful weather and were treated to a factory tour.

Cane Creek is an employee-owned company and is proud to call Pisgah National Forest home. Part of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, this legendary national forest zone is considered one of the nation’s best (and most challenging) areas for cycling and it influences every product Cane Creek makes. Cane Creek’s ‘why’ is simple: “We believe riding bikes makes life better, so we work to make bikes better.” Their mission is grounded on the principle of providing ‘real rider benefit’ that’s noticeable every time a rider takes their bike out for a spin.
