Partnership CEO Named Top Economic Developer in North America

November 18, 2025

Brittany Brady, President and CEO of the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development, has been recognized as a 2025 North America’s Top 50 Economic Developer.

This annual recognition honors outstanding economic development professionals who are nominated by their peers in both the economic development and site consulting industries. Nominees are selected for their exemplary leadership, innovative strategies, and measurable impact in building thriving communities.

Brady was officially presented with her award during the ECONOMIX event this month, hosted by Consultant Connect in Lake Nona, Florida.

“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead economic development in my hometown,” said Brady. “It has been an honor to be a connector and convener of economic activity in Henderson County the past fifteen years and I am grateful for the people I serve alongside with.”

The goal of the Partnership is not just to grow the local economy, but to do so in a way that improves quality of life for all citizens. The Partnership exists to help create high-paying, quality jobs by bringing in companies that provide those opportunities, and then offering support and resources to existing businesses who employ citizens of Henderson County.  The Partnership’s role is to connect companies, people, information, and opportunities, sometimes even remove barriers, to allow this to happen.

“Having resilient and profitable businesses in Henderson County means increased tax revenue to pay for vital services that we all use, such as schools, fire and police, and local infrastructure,” says the Partnership. “In Henderson County, manufacturing accounts for around 30% of the tax revenue.”

Brady has a master’s in Hospitality and Tourism, and she credits her family and predecessors for her inspiration and support throughout her career.

Brady says, “While the work has never been easy, it has always been rewarding. As long as I continue to see my energy and efforts making a real difference — and the work remains challenging and engaging — I am content. I remain committed to doing the work I love and constantly striving to do it even better.”

Consultant Connect, a consulting agency dedicated to bridging the gap between economic developers and site location consultants, announced its 2025 list of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers this past spring.

“At Consultant Connect, we believe economic development goes beyond infrastructure and investment—it’s about creating opportunities that transform lives,” said a spokesperson from Consultant Connect. “We’re honored to shine a spotlight on these exceptional leaders who are driving meaningful change across North America.”
