We would like to formally introduce HCPED’s newly announced Vice President, Jamie Justus. Jamie is a native of Western North Carolina and has been in Henderson County since he was 12. He has many ties to the community and knowledge of the area and as he shared with us, “understands the landscape, people and, culture of our community. Working for Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development would allow me to further serve the community where I choose to live and raise my family. My passion for building relationships and business development would be combined with my love for the place I call home.”
Jamie has an extensive sales and business development background, most recently working with MAU Workforce Solutions as their Business Development Manager. This position allowed him to build relationships with many manufacturers in Henderson County and the region. He has experience in leading a team, customer interaction, building a marketing plan, and developing business development strategies. Jamie is a proud NC State graduate. In his new role, he will oversee our Business Development efforts by making sure our marketing and business development strategies align for the benefit of the county. Additionally, he will take a strong role in EIF (Economic Investment Fund, HCPED’s sister organization) management, assisting with product development as this organization continues to grow and expand. Furthermore, as Vice President, he will have his hands in a little bit of everything, ensuring The Partnership has strong representation in the community, with industry, and working to strengthen the foundation of the organization.
Jamie is married to Haley Donaldson Justus and together they have one son, Roan. They enjoy exploring all our community has to offer.
